Lemon Collective Creative Agency is a branding, website, social media and design agency based in the Niagara Region, working with clients of all sizes across North America to build strong brands, craft thoughtful marketing strategies and design content and websites that tell a story. 

We are looking for a Freelance Social Media & Content Specialist to support our team with a focus on creating content for social media and monitoring trends and upcoming themes in our client’s industries.

  • Freelance Social Media & Content Specialist

  • 6 Months (with possibility of extension)

  • Part Time - 15 Hours/Week (with possibility to increase) at $25.00/Hr

  • Remote (with the ability  to travel in Niagara Region and Greater Toronto Area for content shoots if/when applicable)

Responsibilities:

CONTENT CREATION

  • Develop engaging social media content (graphics & videos) for our clients across various platforms.

  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends and adapt content strategies accordingly.

  • Long and short form video editing when needed.

  • Generate creative and strategic content ideas tailored to each client's niche and target audience.

CONTENT MANAGEMENT

  • Assist with crafting captions and other copywriting elements for social media content (when necessary).

  • Schedule and publish content across various social media platforms.

  • Monitor social media performance and make adjustments to content strategies as needed.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

  • Research and identify trending topics and industry-specific content relevant to our clients.

  • Optimize social media profiles as needed (updating bios, cleaning up Instagram highlights, etc.)

  • Repurposing content across various social media platforms.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience creating engaging social media content (graphics, videos, etc.) for various platforms.

  • Proficiency with creative tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Audition) and Canva.

  • Strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content to specific audiences.

  • Proficiency in social media listening and research to identify trending topics and industry insights.

Education:

  • Post-Secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (preferred but not required).
