Lemon Collective Marketing Inc. is a branding, website, content and design agency based in the Niagara Region, working with clients of all sizes across North America to build strong brands, craft thoughtful marketing strategies and design content and websites that tell a story.

After life handed them a series of lemons, Jaclyn and Julie co-founded Lemon Collective Marketing Inc.. Together, they have grown what was once a small-scale company working out of local coffee shops to a consistently growing creative agency working with businesses and not-for-profit organizations in Niagara and across North America.

Jaclyn McPherson Fruci (she/her)

Having always had an eye for design, Jaclyn has enjoyed combining her passion for the creative arts with her knowledge of marketing and communications since co-founding the creative agency, Lemon Collective.

Jaclyn has worked hard to empower and promote other female-entrepreneurs and creatives through her work with the agency and as co-chair of HIVE Niagara – a new Niagara-based women’s entrepreneurship group.

Between running a business and balancing mom-life, Jaclyn can be found getting creative with art projects, finding the most scenic hiking trails, accomplishing her reading goals, and searching for the best pizza in Niagara.

Julie Mercier (she/her)

After receiving a Diploma in Business and a B.A in Labour Studies, Julie realized that she was most fulfilled when flexing her creative muscles and thus, made a career detour into the marketing and design industry. Since that shift, she has gone from agency-life to entrepreneur when launching Lemon Collective with Jaclyn and hasn’t looked back.

Julie is a passionate volunteer, community advocate, and founding member and co-chair of HIVE Niagara – a Niagara-based women’s entrepreneurship group. Julie is committed to enriching the community by empowering and supporting fellow women-identifying entrepreneurs.

When she’s not deep in Adobe Creative Suite, you can find Julie hanging out with her pets, managing her dog’s Instagram, eating and drinking some of the best Niagara has to offer, and curating the perfect “girl dinner”.

Maddy Wassink (she/her)

Maddy combines a passion for social media marketing with a love for the latest trends. As the newest Lemon, she excels at crafting creative and engaging content that captures attention and delivers results.

In addition to her work at Lemon Collective, Maddy is the owner of Knot Really Art, where she helps people get creative through art workshops and craft kits. Her business allows her to share her love for crafting with people across North America.

When she’s not brainstorming memes or getting crafty, you can find Maddy checking out Niagara’s best food and wine spots, playing rec volleyball with friends, or daydreaming about her next trip—probably while adding another book to her ever-growing TBR list. If you spot her at a local market or Michaels with a matcha in hand, just know she’s living her best life.

Steph Epp (she/her)

Steph combines her expertise in online business strategy with a knack for creating seamless, user-friendly websites. She’s passionate about helping entrepreneurs clarify their online presence and develop strategies that make their websites work smarter. With 9 years of experience in building strategies for online business owners, along with a background in counselling, she brings a unique perspective that blends strategic thinking with deep empathy for her clients’ needs.

Outside of her work with Lemon Collective, she runs Strategy with Steph, where she helps women in online business overcome overwhelm and burnout, creating businesses that are both profitable and fulfilling. Her work allows her to combine her love for business with her dedication to helping others build a business that feels good to run—without sacrificing their well-being.

When she’s not helping others achieve their goals, you’ll likely find Steph enjoying a cozy afternoon with a good book, exploring local coffee shops (for the tea only!), or planning her next creative project.

Let’s work together.
